O som dos Sinos da Igreja (sheet music)
“O som dos Sinos da Igreja” “The Sound of the Church Bells” is a ‘tribute’ to Brazilian composer/guitarist João Pernambuco. It is in the style of a Choro. Pernambuco was a street-musician in Rio de Janeiro at the same time of World War 1 but also a friend of the great Heitor Villa-Lobos. A “Choro” should never be played too fast. Be cool.
D-Major, Drop-D tuning.
