Oh, Holy Night (Christmas Carol) (sheet music)

$3,00

“O Holy Night” (French: Cantique de Noël) is a well-known Christmas carol composed by Adolphe Adam in 1847 to the French poem “Minuit, chrétiens” (Midnight, Christians) by the poet, Placide Cappeau (1808–1877). In Roquemaure in 1843, the church organ was recently renovated. To celebrate the event, the parish priest asked Cappeau to write a Christmas poem and Cappeau obliged. Soon after, Adolphe Adam wrote the music.
I made this arrangement back in 2011 but forgot all about it after leaving to celebrate Christmas in Miami, FL. I made the last adjustments and finished it for this Christmas.
It has recently been popular when Mariah Carey made a recording in 1994.
