Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706) Pachelbel's work enjoyed enormous popularity during his lifetime; he had many pupils and his music became a model for the composers of south and central Germany. Today, Pachelbel is best known for the Canon in D, the only canon he wrote. But it is not a canon in the common sense of the word but more like a passacaglia.
I made this arrangement (variations) and hope you like it.

Excellent arrangement for a song originally written for violin and cello. He has stayed as true to the original as possible. I have a couple of different arrangements. But none quite as good as this one. I also enjoy watching him play. His use of playing over. The soundboard and towards as well as the vibrato are perfect for the song. This is one of my favorite songs so I’m glad Olov has written such an excellent arrangement.
