Interesting piece. All in 6/8 time, the first part is mostly in the 1st position and is easy to play. It’s ok but a bit bland. But then – pow! the 2nd part is very different – some really interesting chord progressions give the piece an unstable, shifting feel. This complements the first part very well indeed. The chords look a bit tricky at first but they are mostly just shifted down the fretboard so with a bit of practice they are doable by the average level guitarist (like me!). A good piece for widening your repertoire (although I think I’d classify it as “tricky level 2”!). Good job Thomas Koppelaar. One complaint: I’d like to see the drawing by Omar Rasul which this piece inspired – any chance, Per?
